Alison was born and raised in Connecticut, trained at the National Academy of Hairdressing, and received her cosmetology license in 1988; she has had advanced training in color correction and hair replacement techniques at Hair Club, Madison Avenue in NYC and completed the Artego Academy in Rome, Italy in 2013.
Alison has been an instructor, salon owner and mentor throughout her twenty five years in the industry.
She now makes her home just outside Nashville, in beautiful Franklin, Tennessee and also writes the monthly column
"Tangled Secrets" for Fieldstone Magazine.
