Alison was born and raised in Connecticut, and trained at the National Academy of Hairdressing. She received her cosmetology license in 1988. She has had advanced training in hair replacement techniques at Hair Club's Madison Avenue office in NYC. She has been a teacher, salon owner and mentor throughout her twenty five years in the industry. She now makes her home in the Fieldstone Farms area of beautiful Franklin, Tennessee and writes the monthly column "Tangled Secrets" in
Fieldstone Magazine.
